Zeal & Pristine Records is the newly launched music label born from the creative mind of Hudson, founder of Zeal & Pristine. What started as a spontaneous idea during a bubble bath—where Hudson often finds her best inspiration—quickly transformed into a mission to amplify underground and emerging voices in the music scene. “I was just thinking, what else can I do for the scene?” she recalls. That moment sparked the creation of The Z List, the label’s debut EP, which Hudson curated and executive produced.

The Z List features a diverse lineup of artists previously spotlighted by Zeal & Pristine, representing the Midwest, Atlanta, the East Coast, and the West Coast. More than just a project, the EP became a proof of concept for what ZP Records could be—a home for pushing underground sounds to global ears.

Following the success of The Z List, Hudson officially launched Zeal & Pristine Records as a full-fledged label. The first release post-EP was the gritty single Cold & Grimy by New Jersey artist twogeebs, continuing the label’s mission to merge storytelling and sound in impactful ways. Just like its editorial counterpart, ZP Records is set on expanding artists’ reach and redefining how underground music gets heard.
