WTF IS ZP?

Zeal & Pristine didn't happen overnight. Hudson created the idea in Central Florida. "I was in love with music as a teen. I spent all my free time downloading mixtapes and trying to find new artists. When it was time for me to start planning for after [high] school, I knew making a magazine was the route I wanted to go."

Once returning to her hometown in the Inland Empire, Hudson got to work. She started building her resume by interning for blogs and connecting with artists, wanting to learn as much before flying solo. "You know what's wild? When I was interning for blogs, they never taught me anything. Everything you see today - the graphics, the interviews, and the editing - I taught myself. I got it out of the mud."

Having no blueprint or an OG didn't stop her because Hud found her way, and a few years later, Zeal & Pristine was born. An online publication that casts the spotlight on artists you wouldn't look at because they don't have a big buzz. Little do you know, those are the ones that are a diamond in the rough. Sleep on them if you want, but in two years when you see them on the billboards don't be like K. Dot saying "damn".
