WINNERS Tape by Niko G4

Before you even start to read this article, I hope you got a glass that's half OJ and champagne. Not that cheap Korbel, it better be Veuve Clicquot because today I'm talking about LA artist Niko G4's new project WINNERS Tape. The last time I wrote about G4 was last summer when he dropped pLAyer 4ever. It's been a long wait since then, but I can genuinely say it was well worth it. This has to be one of the best projects that have dropped this year. So if any artists are reading this and you plan on dropping new music, G4 is your competition.

He knows how to pick the right beats, which artists to call on. His lyrics are like Christmas morning - every present you open is on your gift list - his word flow gets better with each song you play. For example, track six,'' Beach House," starts with a clean, crisp beat, then Niko slides in, rapping the hook, "The goal is to do what the fuck I want when I wake up," and honesty that should be everyone's goal in life. No one else should be controlling your moves except yourself. He goes on to rap about how we all got the same 24 hours and how you can win in this life by managing your time wisely.

That’s only one song so you can only image how the rest of the songs flow. Let me also mention G4 grabs Dom Kennedy, G Perico, Rob $tone, and a few others to take this tape to new heights.
