The Melody of Mania
One of the southside’s finest, Kenarri, is setting the stage for herself yet again with her latest release “Mania”. Emerging from the burbs of Atlanta, Kenarri’s creativity is blatant with her eccentric beats and childlike lyrical nature. Her music isn’t catered to any specific core audience either, but more so open to anyone willing to embrace the different aspects of themselves. Always remember fellas, twitter is not real! So no, you wouldn’t be considered “sassy” for bumping these tracks through your speakers.
The first single of the EP, entitled Toga, radiates a Saturday night drive aura that is rare to find during any hot girl summer these days. Her lyrics embody one’s ever-growing strive for excellence, which can be seen all throughout the city itself. Atlanta’s hustle society has uprisen tremendously, and Kenarri doesn’t fail to let that be known in lyrics such as “If I make a hunnid, I’ll do it again till’ I make a milli”. She has quite the motivational aspect to her character as well, displaying that regardless of life’s obstacles, she’ll continue to push forward. She encourages her fans to keep a good head on their shoulder just as herself.
In the closing single of the EP is a fun Electronic X Trap rendition of, well, any 80’s arcade game ever. “Max” is a playful tune perfect for any NBA 2K soundtrack. If you ever find yourself customizing your team, be sure to put this track in the queue for a bit of an elevated experience. Why not bring out some of the bad b*tch within? Both singles from the EP can be deemed as a tasteful addition to her flowering discography. Check out Kenarri’s EP below!
