Qveen Herby's Rebrand

“Acapella” and “Brokenhearted” by Karmin were staple songs in the early 2010s. However, Karmin has rebranded her music, and now goes by Qveen Herby

Qveen Herby rebranded herself in 2017, when releasing EP 1, which features the song “GUCCI.” This song focuses on materialistic female power and allows for listeners to feel independent and empowered. This song is a strong example in her open mindset and how she stands out from other female rappers with her unique style.

After releasing a multitude of albums, her song “Sugar Daddy,” which was released in 2020, has become her most popular song. The song begins with an almost classical melody paired with her vocals, then transitions into her usual style with hip hops beats and rapping.

Qveen Herby’s rap music allows for female listeners to ultimately feel empowered when listening, and overpowers her former music as Karmin. She defies the societal view of women by equipping them with the confidence to maintain an independent and self-sufficient mindset through her music.
