Backstreet's Back

Backstreet’s back all right, one of the most famous lines from the 90s boy band The Backstreet Boys, still applies today. They are currently on their DNA world tour, postponed since 2019 due to COVID-19. This talented group of singers have worked together since the early 90’s making music for the masses.

I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert at White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, WA this past Friday, with high hopes and expectations that they did not disappoint. With their signature dance moves, fun and light- hearted lyrics, made for a joyous happy crowd that had us all up, dancing, and screaming along to their songs for the entire set.

With all the excitement and happiness, they bring to the crowd it’s no wonder that they still enjoy working together and being on tour even though they have aged. They have strong family values and care about their listeners with is enticing to many fans. Each member took a few moments to thank the crowd for coming out, and it was authentic and heartfelt which touched people in a different way than most concerts have

Music is multigenerational and The Backstreet Boys help prove this. BSB has reached levels of worldwide recognition spanning multiple generations. A family sat in front of me at the concert and I was able to learn that between them they were three generations of BSB fans. When asked, daughter Jessica shared that her mom Linda also in attendance took her to her first concert which happened to be the Millennium tour of this same group. She was overjoyed that she now had the pleasure of taking her daughter to her first concert and it being the same band was such an incredible feeling for their entire family. The joy and pure excitement on their faces waiting for the show to start was such a pleasure to witness.

BSB had an incredibly diverse stage show with cool cinematography using the backgrounds in their favor, colorful lights, all while bringing cool attire and their iconic white outfits into the show making the crowd go absolutely wild.

Overall, this concert experience was one for the books! They brought it with such fire and intensity making the entire night entertaining and exciting. They are currently taking a well-deserved one week off, if they are coming to a city near you absolutely go check out their show!
