The Producers Cut with Streak Desperado

"[I] learned from YouTube - in High School my freshman year, at the time everyone was starting to make music, I tried to rap, but I didn't think I was good, so I got into producing." Says Streak Desperado, who has been cooking up beats since 2012, but it wasn't until 2017 when he started taking producing more seriously. And his dedication paid off. He's been booked and busy, providing beats for K CampBali Baby, and as of recent, Toni Romiti

“I just connected [with] Toni through Twitter, I had found her email online, and I just sent her beats one day. Then months later, her team reached out, saying I got a beat on her album." Streak says, and the album he's talking about is, Don't Talk To BoysHe has production credits for the song titled "Last Straw." A two-minute production filled with soft cords, drums, and kicks. I asked the Maryland native how he created the beat, and this is what he had to say, "I made it on FL Studio. Just in my bedroom on a MacBook took like 15 minutes. I heard the melody, then after that, I added the drums, pitched it down, then structured it."

You can listen to the song below, along with a playlist showcasing Streak's production. Also, follow Streak on social media and be on the lookout for new music and some new collaborative projects.
