In the ever-changing landscape of hip-hop and underground music, few artists manage to carve out a lane as distinctive as twogeebs. Hailing from New Jersey, this innovative artist has been steadily gaining attention with his unique blend of raw lyricism and sound. Just this past October, he released "Tha Geeb Tape 5", the last installment of his Geeb Tape series. True to his signature style, twogeebs dropped his latest album, "Who Would’ve Thought", on November 28th—Thanksgiving Day. The 10-track album continues his tradition of delivering new music on holidays. As his fanbase grows, twogeebs is proving that he’s more than just an artist—he’s a force to be reckoned with in the music world.

You’ve shared your love for cats with your fans, and it seems like they’re a big part of your vibe. What is it about cats that resonates with you, and how does that tie into your overall creative identity as an artist?  Z: I just like cats. as a baby I had a cat and grew up with and a lot of my homies or chicks I dated have had cats. they’ve always been apart of my life. plus they real niggas they don’t like be bothered much and just chill and do they own thing.

You have a tradition of releasing music on holidays. What is it about holiday releases that appeal to you? Do you see it as a way to connect with your audience especially, or is there another reason behind it? i don’t celebrate holidays. they all come from Pagan and demonic traditions and they mostly used as mass energy harvesting rituals. so I’m just tryna take back that energy. Zillaween, Geebsgiving, Geebmas, New Years Geeb, Valengeebs, St. Zilla’s Day etc

The Ski Mask: You’re often seen wearing a ski mask, which has become part of your signature look. Did this style choice come from your love of superheroes, or is there a deeper meaning or story behind it that reflects your persona as an artist? Fuck superheroes I prefer tha villains. some super heroes fire though like Batman, Spider-Man, Hulk but usually tha villains appealed to me more, they low key be misunderstood and tha heroes be tryna gaslight niggas. Ask Thanos. no I wear a mask just cuz….don’t focus on me focus on tha music.

Tha Geeb Tape: You recently released "Tha Geeb Tape 5" but you’ve mentioned that it’s the last one. What led to the decision to make it the final installment? I said I would do any many as Wayne did Carters but he’s out here crying about tha Super Bowl not making music and I don’t have time for that so 5 it is. we done but I will continue to release a new project every October 31st.

You teased your upcoming album with the title “They Hated Jesus at First.” That’s a bold and thought-provoking title. What inspired that choice, and what can fans expect in terms of sound and themes on the album?  Just have to wait till October 31st 2025.

Just last month, you released Tha Geeb Tape 5, and less than a month later you put out Who Would've Thought. What was the motivation behind putting out another project so quickly? Do you have an overflow of creativity that you just want to share with your fans? Honestly, I don’t know, I don’t like sitting on music at all. every time I make something I release it right away and there were a few leftover half-finished songs, so in Thanksgiving spirit we took those leftovers added a few joints and made something new. don’t expect this to be same level as Geeb Tape 5, not as much effort was put in but we used tha rollover creativity to make this. it follows kind of a theme with Tha Geeb Tape 5 and tha whole movie thing.

You’ve been building a lot of momentum with “Tha Geeb Show” as well. Can we expect a new season of the show anytime soon?  Does a bear shit in tha woods?! You damn right Tha Geeb Show will be back. Prolly some new episodes starting very early 2025 and maybe even like a short film at some point as well. also be on tha lookout for more Between The Wals and Good Morning Former episodes. shout out to Davila.

NY vs. NJ Pizza: You’re from New Jersey, and we know the rivalry between NJ and NY Pizza runs deep. If you had to choose, which onehas the better pizza, and what’s your go-to order? Jersey , easy. i just get a plain and a pepperoni slice and a water bottle. simple 

Looking Ahead: With 2025 just around the corner, what’s on the horizon for you in the first quarter of the year?
