The One: YaeDaOne
YaeDaOne is a rising indie artist from Baltimore, Maryland, he’s bringing an R&B vibe to the Hip-Hop scene. His beat selection lies between West Indies inspirations and Trap music, the constant always being his melodies. He started grinding his music career in 2019 with tracks like “Ball”, which was a promising sign of his future in music. YaeDaOne wouldn’t let the journey of an underground artist deter him and dropped singles throughout 2019.
In 2020, YaeDaOne released his first EP, Yae V.S Da One, six songs at nineteen minutes. “Million Dollar Sh!T” is a notable track from the extended playlist. 2020 would be a busy year for YaeDaOne, with him releasing his second EP, Vibes. Which is a no-skip project, boasting his versatility to make quality jams for his women audience. “P.B.T” and “Just Don’t Know” are two tracks I had to play back.
YaeDaOne was in his bag throughout the covid shutdown, releasing singles between both EP’s and growing his fan base. He would keep up his pace and release his two projects in 2021. His EP, A Tale of 4 Cities, and his mixtape Understand Me. Yaedaone continues to find solace in his melodies, exposing the clout opportunists and haters on his trek.
We’re due for a project from YaeDaOne since his last release was in August 2021. He had a recent show with B.Lovee and Pap Chanel last Sunday in North Carolina, I’m confident his performance helped set the vibes. YaeDaOne is an artist who you’ll know sooner than later.
