Sxptember's to be Remembered

Sxptember is a promising alternative rapper, giving the ‘Emos’ hope and relief through his music. The broken-hearted, adolescent rebellion is masked behind lively instrumentals creating a new meaning for each song. His juxtapositional music is bound to be on every “Alt Girl’s” and “E Boy’s” playlists.

Sxptember’s style is reminiscent of mid-2010’s SoundCloud, or the golden era of SoundCloud. The platform saw emo rap, alternative Hip Hop, and various new styles thrive creating a large audience. Sxptember would study the golden age of SoundCloud and adopt his own style. Pop-friendly drums, guitars, and rock-inspired aesthetics make up Sxptember’s vibe.

His latest single, “POLAR EXPRESS,” is soon to be a cult classic in emo rap. The monotony of his voice helps accentuate the song’s mournfulness. “POLAR EXPRESS'' begins with Sxptember asking, “Why are withdrawals so hard to beat?” He then explains how and what’s making his heart cold, over an energetic, pop-rockish beat.

Sxptember’s ambition keeps his music distinctive amongst today’s seemingly boundless music genres. The effortless fusion of alternative rock and rap creates an enjoyable listening experience. Summer is abruptly approaching, and you need that late-night, long ride playlist. His music is fitting whether you’re in or out of your ‘feels’.
