Switching Lanes with God Body Bingo

It’s always exciting to find a new stand-out artist in a favorite genre! Especially ones with amazing vocal abilities, lyrical prowess, and a strong, recognizable presence. That’s why both fans of modern and old rap are going to switch lanes into God Body Bingo’s sound and will absolutely love his latest release, “Switch Lanes”.

The Houston, TX-based rapper first released his debut album Off the Books in 2021 and received a wave of praise and positive feedback. God Body Bingo was even invited to Miami, FL to participate in a songwriting camp for the soundtrack to Issa Rae’s HBO series, Rap Sh!t. Fans clamoring for more have been able to enjoy EPs released in 2021 and 2022 such as “2 Weeks Notice” and “One Year Later”, as well as the 2023 single "Everybody Loves Bingo" and mixtape, Bingo: The Biggest.

God Body Bingo is currently, working on his newest album, Last Name First, and just released the first single from the album, “Switch Lanes.” The song’s beats follow the flow of a car as it accelerates, slows, then picks back up again. Listeners feel like they’re riding with God Body Bingo in the single as the rapper fights against competition and roadblocks before emerging victorious. The music video for “Switch Lanes” is available and is certainly a fun watch as it plays up the driving motifs that double as a metaphor for life’s journey.

The rhythm of “Switch Lanes” easily pulls listeners in as they can’t help but get lost in God Body Bingo’s deep and powerful vocals.
