Olumide Releases a Video for "My Bank" ft. Grxzzly

Remember the days when rappers used to make fun music videos? We need that energy back in rap. I’m telling you this now but PG County artist Olumide from PGN Records may have already got the memo about bringing the vibes back. Released in 2022 as part of his Road To Riches album, Olumide brings us the video for My Bank and I have to tell you he, along with fellow PG County artist Grxzzly, is restoring the feeling thanks to an alley-oop from Exec Video producer Abel Birhanu and Video Editor Brook Teferi.

One of the most important things about shooting a good music video is ensuring the song is undeniably fire and My Bank perfectly fits the bill to perfection. The video sees the 301 rhymesayer being good at basketball, a hilarious tennis scene, and even a postgame press conference featuring the rapper accepting an award for being good at “Everything he does” while plugging his 1More headphones. I don’t want anyone to overlook how business savvy that move is, by the way, Olumide is tapped in. It’s a video with a ton of personality that pulls you in while the song keeps you invested.

Speaking of the song, My Bank finds Olumide and Grxzzly bragging and talking that talk like the best rappers do over speaker-shaking trap drums coupled with video game square piano keys. “There ain’t no time to wait, barely time to conversate” Olumide expresses over the trance-inducing beat before handing the reigns to Grxzzly who provides a great feature verse with a remixed interpolation of “Still Tippin’”. All in all the video succeeds at making you want to put Road To Riches back in rotation (if it wasn’t there already).
