North Carolina artist Mavi is set to make a comeback on October 14th with a new album, Laughing So Hard, It Hurts. His Single Baking Soda, prefaces the album leaving fans with high expectations.

Mavi is a budding star that is sonically refreshing and lyrically deft, with skills on par with renowned acts and musical icons including Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, Isiah Rashad, and MFDoom. Introspectively painting pictures, Mavi draws in listeners with his uniquely elite pen and abstract cadence and beats laden with looping samples that additionally hook listeners. Mavi is much like a poet in the way he manipulates his raps, ethereally dragging his vocals over beautiful samples while departing knowledge to his listeners by reflecting on his own experiences.
