GTK: Danielle Bradbery

I first found out about the singer with her 2017 smash hit, Sway. It's a light and airy song that you and your crew will play while you sip lemonade by the pool or dance with your friends. I followed the then 21-year-old, keeping tabs on her, and, every time she released something, she did not disappoint. Every song was packed with raw emotion and true talent, even her cover songs like Shallow or Psycho, she made sure to put her twist on it.

She stands out from the rest of the rising stars in her field. Take her September single, Girls In My Hometown. It is soft and coated with warm vocals that make you appreciate Bradbery's talent. She spends three minutes singing about the girls from her Cypress, Texas hometown. She wonders if they are getting married, jaded, or simply making their dad's proud. The song has soft keys, a light drum, and strings from the banjo, making this song simply divine. As I said, Danielle does not miss this song is simply another point on her scoreboard.
