GTK: Niko G4

The only player you ever need to know is Niko G4. If you ever want to roll with the winners, you need to shake his hand because he's the president, he's kind of a big deal.

You may have first heard of him on Dom Kennedy's Yellow album, and after that on Young Nation Vol 1. Don't think G4 is just feature material, he can hold his own, just look at his catalog. In 2016 he released Worth The Risk, a perfect way to set his place in the Hip-Hop scene.G4 followed up in 2017 with Roll the Dice 2. Some standout tracks from the project include Wear The Crown and Iron da Money. After the release, G4 played it cool on the albums but, kept his fans entertained with singles Pay Da Fee, Too Eazy, and Swervin.

In 2020, G4 did not let the pandemic slow him down, he dropped an album called pLAyer 4Ever. A well-cut project that showcases G4's growth. His wordplay is blunt yet very relatable, he talks about bagging girls, yet he also dishes out advice on how to stack and save. G4 also shines a light on his struggle, expressing how it helped him grow and reach new heights.

"They don't know how much we struggled kept it solid no complaints", says G4 on the opening track of the project. The rest of the album flows the same, he also grabs Dom Kennedy, Larry June, and even Mani Coolin for features. You can hear the progression and hunger in this project and you can listen to it yourself below and watch his latest visual Showtime.
