Fine Print by Lord Juco & Finn

I woke up feeling legendary, my friends. A lot of new music dropped, Apple threw new Macbook specs into the atmosphere, and we are on the cusp of a new NBA season. If I sit in the barber chair tomorrow, I might really obtain all of the infinity stones.

In my usual midnight scroll of the Twitter timeline, I came across a good amount of subtweets towards you from your ex, but I also ran into a new song from Lord Juco & Finn titled "Fine Print." So I did what I usually do on a Friday when the vibes are out in full effect, and there's a lot of fun to be had, you know? I realized I'm very washed and decided to tuck my entire night into the books and give this a listen.

The beat starts with a sample I can't name off the top of my head. I just know there are hypnotic horns involved with a bassline melody that sticks well underneath Juco's raps. "Standing in the open watching shadows throw shade tryna focus on the fade shit is hopeless." Juco expresses, and at this point, the wordplay is just as top tier as the beat. You have to appreciate when an artist comes to actually rap. You have to appreciate when there's no filler or a wasted line that repeats what he's already said. There's nothing wrong with that method, but it is special when you can tell that the artist didn't want any lines to go to waste.

It's my first introduction to Lord Juco, who just released an album in September. (At the time of writing this, I'm still going through that album but so far, so good.) I hate when people use the term "real hip hop." so I'll avoid that. This is good music, not the label, although a Pusha T verse would be amazing here, and that's me thinking out loud, so disregard.

On that note, my friends, I'll be gone till November. I got packs to move. That's a lie. Outside of the occasional haircut and 2k, my schedule is mad empty. While I figure out how to change that, go stream Fine Print by Lord Juco & Finn and watch the video below.
