The clocks have been sprung forward, indicating spring’s arrival. California artist Baby Flaco is cheffing up hot tracks for the warm weather approaching. His gritty music of living life dangerously is gravitating, with high energy bars and 808’s to pair. It is not hard to imagine Baby Flaco gaining momentum this summer of 2022. 

Murder Tape Vol. 1 is Baby Flaco’s only full project to date. The EP stands at nine minutes with six songs, including BabyDior’s shoutout introduction. Songs like Murder Music and Back Up help set the tone of his project. Murder Tape Vol. 1 embodies Baby Flaco’s bravado empirically, he is a headache in the booth and the streets. His sound is if a horror film score was produced out of a trap house. Baby Flaco’s music is an aggressively portentous, party inducing vibe. 

Currently, “New Chop” is Baby Flaco’s latest single. The DMX, Pop Smoke almost growling annunciation in Baby Flaco’s songs is alluring.  The song samples SZA’s song Hit Different, giving the loop some drill inspired drums and high hats. Baby Flaco delivers on the song and provides a dance house-esque jam, sure to get bodies moving.
