The Ghost Club's Midwest Tour
Two men based out of Pittsburgh began the band The Ghost Club after lead singer Kevin Corcoran fell in love with the feeling of concerts. After finding drummer Domenic Dunegan, the duo began their alternative pop band.
The band has released 10 songs since 2018, their most popular being “Same Graves.” This song begins with an ominous drumbeat that transitions to Corcoran’s vocals. The song focuses on the idea of the similarity of all people, despite the common desire to stand out and to be viewed as superior in society. This reflects heavily on today’s media focused world, especially through the repeated line, “social status just won’t change the fact that we all share the same grave.”
Their song “Isolated,” which was released in April 2020, was written in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and offered a sense of comfort for fans through the period of isolation.
The Ghost Club releases music that explores common societal difficulties and allows for listeners to find comfort and commonality. Make sure to listen to The Ghost Club’s music in preparation for their tour, which takes place July 14-30 in Pittsburgh, Columbus, Brooklyn and Philadelphia.
